Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

2 ¼ cups Makhsous Flour

½ cup cocoa powder

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon vanilla

1 ¼ cup cold butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1 egg

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup melted chocolate

Chocolate sprinkles

Directions

  • In a large bowl, mix together Makhsous Flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and vanilla.
  • In a different bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs to the creamed butter and mix well.
  • Combine the dry and wet ingredients and mix well to make a smooth dough.
  • Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into small pieces. Place the chocolate chips in the middle of each piece of dough and roll into a ball.
  • Place the dough balls apart on a baking sheet and bake at 180 °C for 20 minutes.
  • Allow the cookies to cool, then dip them in the melted chocolate.
  • Decorate with the chocolate sprinkles and serve.
