At DAL Food we continuously analyse the business setting and develop effective and smart thinking that guides the organisation as a whole. The outcome of this thinking translates into a strategy that guides the organisation during a strategic time frame of 4 years. We do this because of the continuously changing environment that we, as an organisation, operate in. Being on the leading team for thought in DAL wouldn’t mean anything unless the strategy guides the everyday actions we take.
This brings me to my second role; acting on this strategy. We help DAL Food move in the same direction and serve the same purpose through business planning. We direct this process and follow up with the different value streams, units, and functions on a monthly basis. We make sure that the efforts of all the different divisions of DAL Food are focused on achieving the strategic objectives and not diverting the organisation in opposing directions.
Another role we carry out is communicating this strategy to all DAL Food employees, with the aim of ensuring every single action taken by any employee is guided by the strategic guidelines found in our strategy.
